The Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden is a new resort and botanical garden in Cebu City. Located along Cebu Tops Road in Barangay Busay in the highlands of Cebu City, the resort features a big circular swimming pool surrounded by iconic white wigwam huts and tents.

A New Attraction in Cebu City

The Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden is located in Barangay Busay. Situated just below the famous Tops Lookout Observation Deck, the resort is approximately only 30 minutes away from the city proper. To get to the resort, one can take a cab or a motorcycle for hire. Rates for motorcycle for hire from JY Square range from 50 to 100 pesos. For complete comfort and convenience, however, taking a private vehicle to the resort is highly recommended.

A Work in Progress

The Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden is still a work in progress. Work on the slides is still being done. And according to resort personnel, in the coming months, more wigwam huts/sheds will be built around the pool and in various parts of the resort.

Affordable Escape

The Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden is the perfect getaway for those who don’t want long travel time and bank-breaking rates. For just 100 pesos, guests can get to enjoy the resort amenities (pool, parking, tables and chairs, grilling station) for 24 hours. Children below 5 years old can get in for free. Corkage fee is also waived for those who want to bring in their own food. The sheds/wigwam huts are also available for only Php200 for two people.
