Cebu Pacific Introduces Three New Routes

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading airline, adds another feather to its cap in terms of widening its network and providing the best connectivity options for Filipinos. Beginning November 19, 2016, Cebu Pacific will further boost the Visayas region with the addition of three new routes. The addition of these new routes, which will service some of the region’s busiest and most important cities, further solidifies the company’s leadership when it comes to domestic ridership. As of this writing, Cebu Pacific now serves a total of 36 domestic cities. It is also now the only carrier flying daily between Cebu and Ormoc and Cebu and Roxas and four times weekly between Cebu and Calbayog.

Check out the all-in year-round fare of these new routes:

From To Type Fare
Cebu Calbayog One-Way PhP1983.00
Cebu Ormoc One-Way PhP1647.00
Cebu Roxas One-Way PhP2039.00

According to CEBGo President and CEO Alexander Lao, the three new routes will help open new doors for Central, Western, and Eastern Visayas. “With these additional routes in and out of the Queen City of the South, more guests can now easily explore the Visayas Region. At the same time, locals can now connect not only to Cebu and Manila, but to international destinations as well,” Lao explained.

In 2015, more than 4.4 million passengers were flown by Cebu Pacific to and from Cebu alone. The introduction of these new domestic routes will mean an increase in the number of serviced passengers in Cebu Pacific’s extremely busy network this year. This latest development also solidifies Cebu’s status as one of Cebu Pacific’s six strategically placed hubs in the Philippines together with Manila, Davao, Clark, Kalibo, and Iloilo.

During a small gathering attended by members of the local media, Cebu Pacific formally announced the launch of the three new routes. Also present during the event were Lapu-Lapu City Tourism Officer Hembler Mendoza, GMCAC Chief Executive Advisor Andrew Acquaah Harrison, CEBGo President and CEO Alexander Lao, MCIA CEO/General Manager Engr. Nigel Paul Villarete, and Tourism Regulation, Coordination, and Resource Generation Assistant Secretary Daniel Mercado.

Cebu Pacific now flies regularly from Cebu to Ormoc, Calbayog, and Roxas.
