Filinvest Land Partners with Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) for Cebu Business Month 2022

Despite the many challenges that greatly affected Cebu in recent years, the province continues to enjoy tremendous growth and progress. Many would argue that this is due to the Cebuanos’ strong faith, hard work, and tenacity to succeed. However, it is also undeniable that a huge chunk of this success can be attributed to one very important factor: Cebu’s strong support system.

Solid Support

Cebu has a network of dedicated, able, and willing industry partners and supporters that want nothing but the best for the province. Take FilInvest Land, for example — an industry giant with Cebuano roots, that has become one of Cebu’s most reliable partners in progress. This year, ever-ready to give Cebu the boost that it needs and deserves, FilInvest Land, is once again filling an important role.

Memorandum of Agreement

Filinvest Land has recently inked a memorandum of agreement with the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) for the year-long Cebu Business Month 2022. This year’s Cebu Business Month aptly themed “Go Cebu!” will be extra special as it will be one of the province’s biggest gatherings since the lockdowns and restrictions were put in place two years ago. The 2022 Cebu Business Month will gather stakeholders in the areas of tourism, information and communications technology-business process management, entrepreneurship, and creative industry. This gathering aims to showcase informative and engaging programs as well as provide opportunities and draw strength from each industry.

Present during the signing of the MOA between Filinvest Land and the CCCI for Cebu Business Month 2022 were Filinvest Land Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Vince Abejo, Filinvest Land SAVP for Marketing Management Arni Maniego, CCCI President Charles Kenneth Co, CBM Overall Chairperson Brigitte Carmel Lim, CBM Vice-Chairperson Josslyn Canon, and CBM Ways and Means Chairman John Paul Chiongbian.

According to Filinvest Land President Tristan Las Marias, the company is always ready to do whatever it can to help Cebu. He said, “Filinvest Land is proud of its Cebuano roots, which is why we’ve always had Cebu’s best interests at heart. We want to be its steadfast partner in progress while helping the community in any way we can. We are honored to support the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Cebu Business Month 2022 and its year-long series of events for the Tourism, ICT-BPM, Entrepreneurship, and Creative Industries of Cebu.”

For his part, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Vince Abejo believes that the CCCI plays a very integral part in the molding of a strong and progressive Cebu. “Filinvest Land, much like the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is an advocate for the growth of Cebu. Filinvest Land invested in 14 projects across the Cebu province throughout the years and has supported the local government for COVID and Typhoon Odette. We are proud to support the Chamber and Cebu Business Month 2022. We believe that we’ll be able to help more Cebuanos through this landmark partnership,” he said.

“Cebu Business Month 2022 is truly symbolic for us. What this represents goes above and beyond a series of events. This year’s Cebu Business Month represents the grit of Cebuanos to beat the pandemic rut and come out stronger than ever. We are thankful for Filinvest Land’s immense support for the chamber, for Cebu Business Month 2022, and for our fellow Cebuanos,” CBM 2022 Overall Chairperson Brigitte Carmel Lim said.
