A Majestic Holiday Lights Celebration at Il Corso Cebu

It was a night of music, giving, art, and lights as Il Corso Cebu, the Refreshing Retail Resort Mall at the South Road Properties, officially lit up its gigantic 2019 Christmas Tree. The special event, dubbed Holidaze: Christmas Illumination, featured amazing musical performances, an experiential fashion show, a lifestyle fair, and a whole lot more!

“Christmas Illumination: a Majestic Holiday Lights Celebration” is Il Corso’s first-ever Christmas Tree lighting celebration. So, to make it even more special, the mall has decided to celebrate the milestone by focusing on their three main advocacies: love for communities, passion for active lifestyle, and love for the environment.

Visitors and guests who were present during the event were treated to a mesmerizing musical showcase before the program officially started.

Filinvest Lifemalls Marketing Manager George Calles welcomed guests to the first Christmas tree lighting event. He also talked about the mall’s initiative to help its chosen beneficiaries. Mr. Calles also teased the crowd about the exciting things to look forward to at Il Corso.

Guests were also treated to an experiential fashion show showcasing designs that put the spotlight on sustainability, recycling, and environmental protection.

A musical extravaganza featuring characters from the hit animated film Frozen got guests both young and old charmed and glued to their seats.

Il Corso also welcomed the night’s guests of honor – the children from Everlasting Hope.

Il Corso’s modern and stylish Christmas Tree, which sits at the very center of the mall, features unique and interesting elements that are seldom seen in today’s holiday trees.

During the event, Il Corso also proudly launched its new indoor murals. Considered the biggest indoor murals in Cebu, the paintings were created by talented Cebuano artists.
