Cebu Marathon 2020 Partners with Sports Footwear Brand New Balance

The Cebu Executive Runners Club (CERC) recently announced that it will be partnering with top sports footwear and apparel brand New Balance for Cebu Marathon 2020. The partnership features “12 Happy-nings with New Balance”, a series of events and activities which will revolve around the run. As the official performances footwear of the race, New Balance also has exciting offers and deals which will be offered exclusively to marathon participants.

Couch to Cebu Marathon 2020

The New Balance Running Club (NBRC) recently launched its Couch to Cebu Marathon 2020 program. The program, whose main aim is to prepare participants for Cebu Marathon 2020, is a six-Sunday long run training designed to make participants run faster and better. The first run will be on November 24, 2019. During the training run, participants will train with three New Balance pacers with different targets (6.00, 6:30 and 7.00 min/km pace).

Participants who will be joining the training will receive a Stamp Card which will be updated after every run. Participants with 4 to 5 validated stamps will get an exciting freebie from New Balance. Those who are able to complete the 6 training sessions will bring home a New Balance Shirt.

Registration for the training run begins on November 18 at the New Balance Concept Store at the second level of Ayala Center Cebu’s new wing. Registration is absolutely free.

Cash Vouchers for All Participants

As part of the partnership, all Cebu Marathon 2020 participants will receive a Php1,000.00 Off Cash Voucher. This voucher can be used to purchase regular priced New Balance items worth at least Php4,995.00. To use the cash voucher, participants must simply present a copy of their Cebu Marathon confirmation stub at the New Balance Concept Store.

Cebu Marathon

The Cebu Marathon is one of the most exciting events during the Sinulog season in Cebu City. Now on its 12th year, the marathon continues to attract runners from different parts of the region. The 12th Cebu Marathon will have 42K, 21K, and 5K distances and will pass through some of the city’s most iconic spots like the Cebu Provincial Capitol Building and the Fuente Osmena circle.
