JPark Celebrates 10th Year with The Triton Ball, Opens First Pororo Park in PH
Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark Cebu, the country’s only 5-star premier waterpark, recently celebrated its tenth anniversary with a bang. The grand celebration, dubbed the Triton Ball, was held at the posh resort’s newly-renovated Triton Ballroom. The 1000-seater ballroom, which, is now the biggest ballroom in Mactan, was completed just in time for the big event. Also opened during the anniversary was the Pororo indoor theme park which is considered the first Pororo theme park in the Philippines.
The Triton Ball
The main highlight of the premier resort’s 10th anniversary celebration was the lavishly spectacular Triton Ball. Held at the newly-renovated 1000-seater Triton Ballroom, the event was truly an unforgettable spectacle made even better by good food, exciting surprises, and great music.
Present during the ball were some of the biggest and most important names in Cebu and the whole country, including Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junar ‘Ahong’ Chan.
The Triton Ball was a celebration of all the different elements that helped make JPark one of Cebu’s. The event was also a showcase of the resort’s colorful history and its bright and promising future.
The celebration was made more special by the live performances from Kiana Valenciano and her dad, Mr. Pure Energy himself, Gary Valenciano.
Pororo Theme Park
Coinciding with the anniversary celebration was the grand opening of the first-ever Pororo Theme Park in the Philippines. Located on the left side of the resort’s main lobby, the Pororo theme park is a perfect addition to Jpark’s already long list of features and amenities designed for adventure-seekers and kids (and kids at heart.)
The Pororo Theme Park is based on the popular Korean children television show entitled “Pororo the Little Penguin.” The park can be found in different countries including Korea where it currently has 11 locations. The one in Mactan is the 18th Pororo theme park in the world.
The Pororo Theme Park has more than 20 fun rides and attractions for children of all ages.
The ticket price for the Pororo Theme Park starts at P1,500 for two hours for cbildren who are 0 to 12 years old (with 1 guardian included.) All-day access to the park costs P3,750.
