20 Exciting News from Cebu Pacific on its 20th Year!
On March 8, 1996, Cebu Pacific launched its very first daily flights to Cebu. Since then, its network has grown and it has flown more than 120 million passengers to hundreds of different locations both here and abroad.
This year, as the country’s leading and most trusted airline turns 20, Cebu Pacific presents 20 exciting news that will not only make travel easier and cheaper, but will definitely also make it fun, enjoyable, and truly memorable.

1. New Aircraft Livery
The Cebu Pacific fleet has recently undergone a makeover. The aircraft livery, or the paint scheme applied to visible parts of the airplane like the fuselage, wings, and tail, now prominently features the color yellow and the new font color.
2. New Uniforms
Cebu Pacific’s cabin crew will now have a fresher and more youthful look with uniforms designed by Cebuano Jun Escario.
3. Leading Philippine Carrier
Cebu Pacific is currently the country’s leading carrier. In 2015, Cebu Pacific flew more than 18 million passengers.
4. 100 millionth passenger
Cebu Pacific recently flew from Cebu to Manila its 100 millionth passenger Yelen Bontuyan. Yelen received PhP100,000.00 and 100 free flights!
5. Destinations and Routes
Being the leading carrier in the Philippines, Cebu Pacific has a vast network which includes 34 domestic destinations, 56 domestic routes, 30 international destinations, 42 international routes, and around 2,500 flights per week.
6. Number of Aircraft
Cebu Pacific has a steadily growing fleet. As of the moment, Cebu Pacific has a total of 56 aircraft.
7. More Aircraft
More aircraft will soon be joining Cebu Pacific’s already massive fleet. Cebu Pacific is expecting the delivery of 16 ART 762-6700s, 3 Airbus A320s with Sharklets, and 30 Airbus A321neos.
8. Longer Range and Farther Reach
With the entry of the A321neo line, the airline will have a much longer range. Soon, the company will be able to serve more cities in Australia, Japan, and India.
9. Airbus A32 Deliveries
Aside from its reach and range, the Airbus A321neo aircraft will have the Recaro SL3510 seats. These seats, which will be utilized for the first time in the Asia Pacific Region by Cebu Pacific, are ergonomic and very light weight.
10. Route Network
Cebu Pacific has a pretty extensive route network. The network reaches all major island groups and much of South East and North Asia.
11. Cebu Hub Routes
Cebu Pacific offers the lowest fare in all of its domestic and international routes.
12. Manila – Guam Flights
Cebu Pacifc also now flies 4 times each week to Guam from Manila.
13. Manila – Fukuoka Flights
Cebu Pacific now flies thrice each week from Manila to Fukuoka, Japan.
14. Cebu – Taipei Flights
Also, Cebu Pacific also now flies thrice weekly from Cebu to Taipei, Taiwan.
15. Davao – Singapore Flights
Flying from Davao City twice weekly, Cebu Pacific also now offers direct flights to Singapore.
16. Cebu Pacific Mobile App
Cebu Pacific’s mobile app gives passengers a chance to secure travelsure tickets, pre-order meals, earn reward points for GetGo, and a whole lot more.
