Wendy’s Opens First Cebu Store at Mactan-Cebu International Airport

Wendy’s has officially arrived in Cebu, bringing its signature burgers, fresh salads, chicken favorites, and other popular menu items closer to Cebuanos. Its first Cebu branch also marks the brand’s 110th store in the Philippines.

The international fast-food chain has opened its first store in Cebu at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA). The opening marks another milestone in Wendy’s Philippine expansion. At least three more locations are also expected to open in different parts of Cebu.

The new MCIA branch features Wendy’s Future Fresh design. This is a modern and refreshed store concept that creates a more welcoming and inviting dining space. Its contemporary interiors offer travelers a comfortable place to enjoy a meal before their flights or while waiting for arriving passengers.

Wendy’s Brings Its Signature Favorites to Cebu

A Cebuano Welcome for Wendy’s

The grand opening celebration featured a distinctly Cebuano welcome. Cultural dancers from Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City, provided a local touch to the occasion with their Sinulog dance.

Among those present during the event were Mr. Paolo A. Conti, Hon. Governor Pamela Baricuatro, Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Cindy King-Chan, represented by Tourism Officer Garry Lao, MCIA Deputy Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Nabil Rasheed, and Wendy’s General Manager Mr. Walter Mariner, along with other guests and representatives.

The opening brought together representatives from the local government, airport management, and Wendy’s as the brand officially began serving the Cebu market.

To celebrate its Cebu debut, Wendy’s is offering special treats at its MCIA branch.

The grand opening promotions include:

• Free Wendy’s bag charm for the first 100 customers.
• Free soda upgrade from regular to medium.
• Free Wendy’s tote bag with a minimum single-receipt purchase of ₱699.
