Mactan-Cebu International Airport Hosts 10th Edition of Bumper to Bumper in Cebu

For the very first time, Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) will be hosting Bumper to Bumper in Cebu. For the 10th edition of the longest-running and the biggest outdoor car show in Asia, MCIA will showcase awesome show-ready cars in one of the airport’s biggest events yet this year!

Bumper to Bumper 10

Bumper to Bumper (B2) is the biggest, widest, and longest-running outdoor car show and lifestyle event in Asia. For its 10th run, B2B will be making a stop, for the very first time, in the Queen City of the South. The famous car show has made stops in Baguio, Batangas, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Laguna, La Union, Pampanga, Pangasinan. In addition, it has also made stops in Canada and Singapore.

B2B is not your average car show. In fact, it features the biggest production setup in any car show in Asia. In addition, the show usually gathers a crowd of 70,000 car lovers and car show fans. B2B is known for its Pro and Street Category car show competition, off-road vehicle display competition, engine roar competition, and more!

The car show will run from June 5 to 6, 2021. Gates open at 2 in the afternoon.

Bumper to Bumper: More Than Just a Car Show

B2B is known for adding new elements to make the car show even more interesting. This year, B2B will also be holding a drive-in, ride-in movie. Jonathan Chio, Sr. Manager of Ladder Events Production said that the decision to do this was easy. MCIA’s wide and beautiful car park makes it an ideal spot for such a big event.

GMR Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation Commercial Manager Nieves Belmonte added that B2B is a pretty unique car show. She said that they wanted to hold the drive-in, ride-in movie to make use of the space which has been left empty due to Covid-19.

B2B will feature a car meet, food strips, and even a digital party for modern car lovers who cannot be present during the event. Happening at the same time is the first-ever Live Moore (Mactan Off-Road and Overlanding Expo).

Health and Safety

To keep everyone safe during the event, guests will be asked to wear a mask and a shield. Also, distancing must be done at all times. Guests are asked to register online to prevent a big crowd from gathering. Only those who were registered will be allowed in.
