Priland Tops Off First Vertical Project Northwoods Place

On December 10, 2020, just 16 months after the start of construction, Priland Development Corporation officially topped off its first vertical project Northwoods Place. The two-tower project, which sits right next to Northwoods Residences in Canduman, Mandaue City, is the homegrown developer’s very first residential condominium project.

Northwoods Place Topped Off

Construction of Northwoods Place began in August 2019. Set to be completed by the end of 2021, the scheduled topping-off of the 1,817 sqm development almost didn’t push through. This was due to the delays which were a result of the work and travel restrictions during the lockdowns. However, the team worked really hard and hurdled all obstacles to meet the deadlines.

Present during the event were Engr. Reynaldo Eugenio, VP for Operations of Devlarn Ventures and Development Corporation; Engr Eduardo Bagcat, COO; and Engr Nathalie Vargas, VP Admin & Finance. Also present were Engr Deryl Vargas, CEO & President; Ramon Carlo Yap, Priland President; Marcelino Relampagos, COO; Engr Roy Vincent Lumayag, VP for Technical; and Mr. Dudes Tuanquin, and VP for Sales and Marketing.

According to Priland President Ramon Carlo Yap, “Priland stays true to its word in delivering quality projects as scheduled. The pandemic has been hard on everyone, but we exerted all our efforts to be able to top off Northwoods Place by 2020. The team has been working hard to achieve this goal in just 16 months of construction.”

Northwoods Place

Northwoods Place is Priland’s first foray into the residential condominium market. Made up of two towers connected by a bridge, the project has a total of 312 studio, one-bedroom, and home office units. It also has commercial spaces for the convenience, comfort, and safety of its residents.

According to Mr. Yap, Northwoods Place is designed for a focused and productive way of living. For this reason, the two towers (10 floors and 18 floors) have plenty of ‘breathing’ spaces. In fact, each floor has a limited number of units to ensure that things remain quiet and organized.

Northwoods Place is located close to major establishments and places of business. Located along the road in Barangay Canduman, the project is just a stone’s throw away from public terminals, shopping centers, and the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu.

Units at Northwoods Place range from Php2.2M to Php9M.

In his speech, Mr. Yap explained that the project carries ‘The Priland Advantage.’ “Units come with fixtures that support ease of convenience and connectivity – a standard in every Priland Residences project,” he said.

Owners of units at Northwoods Place will be pleased to know that there are provisions for air-conditioner, telephone line, and cable line. Units will also have provisions for induction stoves, range hoods, sprinklers, and even smoke and heat detectors.

Residents will also get to enjoy amenities like a lobby and lounge, a swimming pool, a gym, and an outdoor shower.
