Robinsons Galleria Cebu and Summit Galleria Cebu Welcome the Holidays with Exciting Activities

Christmas is finally here as Robinsons Galleria Cebu and Summit Galleria Cebu welcome the yuletide season with a series of exciting activities and offerings. Designed to bring together families and loved ones, the activities are perfect bonding opportunities for those who want to feel the spirit of Christmas in the company of those that make their heart warm.

Robinsons Galleria Cebu

Robinsons Galleria Cebu kicked off the yuletide season with a series of exciting activities inside the mall. Anchored on RLove, Robinsons’s mission to bring together all the elements that we love about the holiday season, the activities are well-planned and will cater to anyone who loves and enjoys the holiday season.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Robinsons Galleria Cebu kicked off the RLove season with the lighting of their Christmas Tree last November 15, 2019. The unique Christmas Tree was decked with vintage houses, fairy bells, red and gold Christmas balls, and other vintage design sits in the very middle of the mall.

The event featured performances by Adlib, the children of Rise Above Foundation, and the students of Umapad Elementary School. Rise Above Foundation and the Umapad Elementary School are the chosen beneficiaries of Robinsons Galleria Cebu. The ceremony was followed by a live performance of Cebu-based band Three-Legged Men.

Christmas House

The mall has also set up an exciting Christmas House right next to the Christmas Tree. Holiday shoppers can enter the Christmas House and take photos and selfies with the amazing set-up inside. A vintage pickup truck is also on display beside the Christmas House.

Pre-Holiday Sale

To coincide with the kick-off, Robinsons Galleria Cebu will be having a pre-holiday sale from November 15 to 17 with discounts of up to 70% on selected stores.

Yuletide Concerts

Enjoy the holiday season with great songs and tunes at the Verandah with the Yuletide Concerts every 6 pm on November 22 and 29 and December 6, 13, and 20.

Coral Catwalk Fashion Show

Coral Catwalk Fashion Show, a fashion show with a cause in cooperation with Go Grow Glow Cebu, will be held on November 23 at 5 pm. The fashion show will feature candidates from Binibiing Cebu 2020.

Mr. and Mrs. Clause Meet and Greet

Shoppers will have a chance to meet and greet Mr. and Mrs. Claus in person at Robinsons Galleria Cebu. The famous couple will be inside the Christmas House on December 13, 14, and 15.

Summit Galleria Cebu

Summit Galleria Cebu officially welcomed the holiday season with the lighting of their dreamy and sparkly 12-foot Christmas Tree last November 15, 2019. Inspired by the famous Cebuano puso, the Christmas Tree features ornaments and designs shaped like the well-loved hanging-rice of Cebu.

One of the highlights of the event was Summit Galleria Cebu’s Galing sa Puso program. Guests are encouraged to hang their puso ornaments on the Puso Tree of Hope and share their donations to help the hotel’s chosen beneficiary. All proceeds of the project will go to the children of Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary.

Summit Galleria Cebu also introduced a Christmas Book Drive for Children. The project, which aims to collect books for children from 0 to 12 years old, was inspired by Mr. John Gokongwei, Jr who has helped build institutions for learning. The collected books will be turned over to Summit Galleria Cebu’s chosen charity serving children in need.

Guests may also visit the Gokongwei Gallery located at the fourth level of Summit Galleria Cebu where the pieces from Aninaw Art Collective are on display. The group is gathering of Cebu-based artists who are passionate in promoting Cebu to the world.
