Modernbrands Opens Showroom in Cebu

Modernbrands Inc, a popular and trusted lifestyle home solutions company, is finally here in Cebu!

Last September 19, 2019, Modernbrands officially opened its showroom in Cebu. The event, which also marked the launch and open-house of top brand Novacucina: Italian Kitchen, was attended by members of the local media, local design enthusiasts, special guests, and some of the country’s biggest names in architecture and design.

Home and Design Trends of the Modern Cebuanos

During the event, a short talk show which dissected the Home and Design Trends of the Modern Cebuanos was also held. The discussion gave guests an insight into the ever-changing tastes, preferences, and design sensibilities of the Cebuanos. Speaking during the show were Architect Buck Sia and Interior Designer Holly Dychangco.

Architect Buck Sia talks about the evolution of design in Cebu.

Architect Buck Sia is considered a star when it comes to design and architecture. Named one of the Top 20 Designers Under 40 by Bluprint Magazine in 2013, Buck is every client’s dream partner. Buck is the principal architect of ZUBU Associates and is one of the collaborators of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu’s Cor Jesuoratory.

Interior Designer Holly Dychangco shares about her experiences working with clients with ‘out of this world’ requests.

Interior Designer Holly Dychango is another force to be reckoned with. A Degree holder in Interior Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA and a Master’s Degree in Design Management from Instituto Europeo Design in Barcelona, Spain, Holly knows what’s hot and what’s not when it comes to interior design. Holly is also the Principal Designer and Owner of Holidawn Home Interior Design + Accessories.

Asia Pacific Sales Manager of Innovation Living Mr. Peter Bach talks about the things that make Innovation Living stand out from all other brands in the market today.
Andrea Reicherl, Novacucina’s Asia Sales Head from Italy shares about the home life of a typical Italian family and how his background and experiences have influenced the products and designs of Novacucina.
