Concentrix Holds Most Massive Family Day Event in Cebu

Concentrix, the biggest BPO company in Cebu, held last Sunday, July 28, 2019, a massive three-venue Family Day event as part of its thrust to not only show how fun it is at Concentrix but also to prove that they are indeed ‘fanatical’ about their clients and staff. The event, which was aptly called Funatix: One Concentrix Cebu Family Day 2019, featured family-centric activities, staff-oriented competitions, and a whole lot more.

Family Getaway

The whole-day record-breaking event had two parts-Family Getaway and the Funatix Concert. The first half of the event was held in three different venues. To make sure that each venue wasn’t too crowded, Concentrix Cebu’s more than 20,000 staff and event guests were given a chance to choose from these three exciting locations.

Location 1

World of Adventure
Location: Anjo World Theme Park (Minglanilla, Cebu)
Features: Food Stalls, Golden Carousel, London Taxi, Wiking, Tower Drop, Boomerang, and more

Located in Minglanilla, this location is ideal for staff and guests from the Southern part of the metro who wanted to be treated to a day of fun and adventure at World of Adventure at the newly-opened Anjo World Theme Park.

Location 2

Funtastica
Location: Mountain Wing, SM Seaside City Cebu (Official) (South Road Properties)
Features: Children’s Musical, Paint Workshop, Cosplay Competition, CNX Got Talent, Food Stalls, and more

Staff and employees who live near the city proper had the option to check out Funtastica which was held at the Mountain Wing of SM Seaside City Cebu at the South Road Properties.

Location 3

Merryland
Location: North Reclamation Area
Features: Theme Park Rides, Game Booths, Inflatables, Musical Shows, Parade of Cosplayers, Photo Booths, Food Bazaar, and more

Merryland, which was located at the North Reclamation Area (the empty lot next to Bai Hotel), was perfect for staff and guests who reside in the northern part of the metro.

Funatix Concert

The second part of the event was the open-air concert ‘Funatix Concert’ which was held at the St. James Theme Amusement Park lot at the North Reclamation Area. The concert was headlined by some of the country’s biggest names in entertainment like world-renowned EDM artists (DJ Ace Ramos, DJ Tom Taus, DJ Paolo Avila, DJ Knoxville), the country’s top bands (Sponge Cola, Rocksteddy), and some of the most in-demand local artists (Jackie Chan, Wonggoys, Missing Filemon.)
