Celebrating ‘One Dream’ at the Honda Riders Convention 2018 Visayas Leg
Last November 24, 2018, Honda riders from the Visayas region came in full force as the well-loved brand held the third and final leg of the 2018 Honda Riders Convention. Riders from all over Cebu (and some from as far as Iloilo and Bacolod) gathered at The Tent at Mandani Bay in Mandaue City for a full day of exciting activities and surprises.
The whole day event started off relaxed and easy with participants getting a close look at some of the best-looking Honda motorcycles around.

MOTOR SHOW
The motor show, which was participated in by members of Honda’s different motorcycle clubs, showcased the riders’ excellent craftsmanship, unique styling concepts, and amazing technical and mechanical knowledge of the Honda brand.
PARTNER SHOWCASE
The Mandani Bay grounds were also transformed into one big exhibition hall as partner brands also showcased their products for the thousands of riders in attendance.
TEST RIDE
To give riders a chance to show off their driving skills, Honda also held a test drive competition featuring some of the company’s newest models.
AFTERNOON EVENTS
In the afternoon, all the convention participants settled inside the cavernous Tent at Mandani Bay for a series of fun activities, games, music, and surprises.
NEW and CURRENT MODELS UNVEILED
The program officially began with the introduction of Honda’s latest models. One by one, the new models were unveiled much to the excitement of the thousands in the audience.

HONDA RIDERS GOT TALENT
The showcase was followed by the Honda Riders Got Talent competition. The contest featured individuals and groups (who are Honda riders) with exceptional talents and skills.

After the talent competition, a different kind of competition followed. This time, it was the search for Ms. Honda Riders Con 2018. At the end of the segment, the gorgeous candidate #9 was adjudged this year’s winner.
MOST SENIOR HONDA RIDER
Next, Honda recognized one of the oldest living ‘influencers’ who continue to use the brand. Honda honored Mr. Francis Daban, Jr. from Iloilo for being the most senior Honda rider. According to Mr. Daban, his decision to stick with Honda was mostly due to the brand’s durability and high quality.
HONDA CLUBS APPRECIATION
Honda then presented all Honda motorcycle clubs with a plaque of recognition and appreciation for helping build the continually-growing Honda community in the Visayas.
FUN, GAMES, and MUSIC
Lastly, Honda gave out dozens of prizes during a very exciting raffle draw. Fun games and activities also kept everyone glued to their seats.
The day ended with a mini concert by one of the country’s biggest acts – Cueshe. Convention participants jammed to the band’s most memorable hits as Mandani Bay’s The Tent turned into one big party.
