October 10 – The Fat Chair Open House
Space planner and furniture designer Christopher Timothy talks to guests about The Fat Chair
The Fat Chair, one of Cebu’s most important names in space planning and furniture design, held an open house to showcase their line of high-quality furniture, carpets, curtains, blinds, and shades.
The Fat Chair is located at FLC Center, Hernan Cortes St. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

October 12 – Media Presentation – Ala Van Epic City
Alan Arong Duarte and Dr. Vanessa Cabaron talk to members of the media about the AlaVan Epic City project which had its groundbreaking ceremony last September 29, 2018.
The AlaVan Epic City, which is also termed “HospiCondotelity,” will soon rise in Balabagon, Moalboal Cebu. A project of the Ala Van Epic City Devt Corp, the 19-storey tower with two 8-storey wings will have a hospital, a condominium, a hotel, an entertainment center, a beauty and wellness center, and a whole lot more!
October 29 – Ginoong Cebu Press Conference
31 contestants, each representing a town or city in Cebu will be vying for the title Ginoong Cebu 2018. A press conference was held last October 29 at JCentre Mall during which the contestants were interviewed by members of the press.
Catch the pre-pageant this Friday, November 16, 4pm at Robinsons Galleria Cebu. Coronation Night will be on December 15, 2018, 8pm at the Cebu Coliseum.

October 31 – Aloha Mana Bloggers Day Out
Aloha Mana, a spa which also doubles as a cafe, recently opened at the third floor of the Queensland Manor in Rahman Street. The spa and cafe offers not just great tasting beverages and snacks, they also high-quality spa services. All the masseuse and masseurs are NC2 holders from TESDA under the mentorship of Ms. Lucille Alinsug.
