SKY Alive Tour Returns to Cebu
SKY, the country’s leading cable television service provider recently brought back to Cebu their weekend experiential cable fair Sky Alive. In partnership with Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, the fair allows families to experience their favorite cable shows ‘in real life’ and at the same time get to know more about Sky’s different services.
This year’s Sky Alive was held at the atrium of SM City Cebu Northwing from May 26 to 28 and was headlined by celebrity brothers Troy and KC Montero. The Montero brothers are set to star (and also serve as producers) in Discovery Channel’s new show Worst Vacation Ever which will begin airing in August.

Sky Alive features fun, informative, and interactive booths which highlight some of Sky Cable’s most-watched cable shows. Some of the fun activities at this year’s Sky Alive include:
Cupcake making at the Cake Boss booth
Virtual Reality ‘ride’ Wild Zone at the Animal Planet booth
An Instagram-ready photo set at the Worst Vacation Ever booth
A Flip-a-Minute challenge at the You Have Been Warned booth
A videoke booth
And other booths which feature the different services offered by Sky.
Gathering with Cebu Media
During an intimate gathering with members of the local media before the fair opened, the people behind Sky also revealed their future plans as well as their latest promotions and special offers.
According to Sky General Manager Nino Rey Sarabosing, Sky Alive is a perfect way for Filipinos to “extend their Sky experience beyond their screens and gadgets.”
Celebrity brothers KC and Troy Montero dropped by the media huddle to talk about their exciting new show Worst Vacation Ever.
Airing in August, Worst Vacation Ever will document the brothers’ different travel woes as they experience the ‘worst’ vacations ever.
During the event, Sky also hosted a pop quiz for all members of the media present. The winners of the fun quiz won premium items and gift certificates.
