Southwestern University Offers Arts & Design Programs for Senior High School
Southwestern University PHINMA (SWU PHINMA), a leading Cebu institution that takes pride in developing learners to become the best that they can be, has recently made an important announcement. With the main goal of providing more and better opportunities for the Filipino youth, the university has made another bold step by introducing their new Arts & Design Senior High School (SHS) programs.
With other SHS tracks fast becoming saturated, the introduction of these new tracks is definitely a welcome development. Not only will these programs make Cebu graduates more competitive and world-ready, they will also encourage learners to explore new possibilities and recognize the value of these new options.
Professor John Paul “Lakan” Olivares, an artist, historian, and educator will be leading the SWU Phinma Arts & Design program.
Professor Olivares talks about the new program with members of the local media.
