Bradley Weiss Dominates 2017 XTerra Danao

It’s a winning streak for South African Bradley Weiss as he once again dominated the Philippine staging of one of the world’s toughest races. Weiss, who called 2017 XTerra Danao the “hardest and hottest race” yet, was also the big winner in the 2016 XTerra Albay tilt. Finishing the race in just three hours and sixteen minutes, the ever cool Weiss bested other experienced pro athletes like Sam Osborne, Ben Allen, Kieran McPherson, and our very own Joseph Miller.

The extremely challenging race was made up of three segments:

1.5 Km swim at Coco Palms Resort

40 Km mountain bike traversing the mountains of Danao,

and a 10 Km trail run through the scenic and community roads of Danao City.

Finishing first for the Men’s Pro division was Bradley Weiss from South Africa.

Weiss finished the race in three hours and 16 minutes.

Finishing first for Women’s Pro division was Carina Wasle from Austria.

Carina finished the race in 4 hours, 7 minutes, and 49 seconds.
