Johndorf Tower in Cebu City Topped Off
Johndorf Tower was topped off on April 28, 2022, in Cebu City, confirming Johndorf Ventures Corporation’s (JVC) legacy and its expansion into the Visayas.
Johndorf Tower is the first of its kind in JVC’s portfolio. The development is designed to address the ever-growing demand for energy-efficient and sustainable office spaces.
The historic topping-off ceremony was held at the project site at the Cebu Business Park – between Mindanao Avenue and the Biliran Loop. JVC’s project partners and top executives including JVC Executive Vice-President Norma Lim and Managing Director Frances Lim were present during the event.
According to David Leechiu, head of the Leechiu Property Consultants (LPC), a major partner, the JVC Tower is uniquely attractive and will be completed at just the right time. “The timely completion of the project points to an LPC study indicating a surge in demand for office spaces in areas like Cebu as workers return to live work environments,” he said.
Based on the 2022 Philippine Property Outlook, nonbusiness process outsourcing (BPO) office deals rose by 2 percent in the first nine months of 2021 compared to 2020.
According to predictions, future-proofing office towers will be important after 2022. Additionally, in response to the pandemic, office buildings are being built with characteristics such as improved ventilation systems, sanitation stations, better natural lighting, and a whole lot more.
As JVC’s first commercial high-rise, the Johndorf Tower will serve as regional headquarters. It will also house the offices of domestic and international corporations, particularly in the information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) industry Offices will be distributed over 11 of the tower’s 21 stories.
Five other levels will be dedicated to podium parking. In addition, there will be retail outlets on the ground floor and a service deck for tenants.
“Johndorf Tower is a testament to our growth and continuing legacy. It cements our commitment to actively participate in Cebu’s effervescent economy and showcases our corporate values of integrity, innovation, and quality service,” JVC Managing Director Frances Abegail Lim said.
