Priland Signs Joint Venture Agreement with Mandaue City for Harbor Centre
Local real estate developer Priland Development Corporation recently signed a joint venture agreement (JVA) with the City of Mandaue for a P2-B office and commercial development in Mandaue City.
Harbor Centre by Priland
Called Harbor Centre, the two-tower (16 and 20 floors) development will rise on a 7,800 sq lot along Mantawi Avenue. The first tower will have 16 stories. The second tower, on the other hand, will be 4 floors taller. The development is a PEZA-registered Grade A Green Building. Additionally, it will feature leasable office and commercial spaces. Moreover, the two-tower project is a response to the foreseen demand for residential and commercial spaces, especially with the recovery efforts in Cebu already in full swing. The project is scheduled to be constructed in 2024.
Historic Event
Heading the historic signing of the JVA were Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes and Priland President Ramon Carlo Yap. Also present were Priland VP for Technical Mr. Roy Vincent Lumayag and Mandaue City Vice-Mayor Glenn Bercede.
According to Priland President Ramon Carlo Yap, “As the economy slowly gets back on its feet, we join the momentum as we see the potential of Mandaue as a highly urbanized city. Many businesses are now shifting back to normal operations. Thus, the need to provide spaces where big companies and startups alike can grow and flourish. We are grateful that the city government has chosen us as their partner for this venture.”
Mr. Yap added that the project will change the future of Mandaue City. “Priland envisions Harbor Centre to be an economic and commercial hub that will help in the growth and progress of Mandaue City in the coming years,” he said.
Priland
The signing of the joint venture is yet another feather in the homegrown real estate developer’s cap. Just last year, Priland has also begun working on Paseo Grove and Vertex Central – vertical projects with a mix of commercial and residential spaces.
