Cebu Pacific Gathers Cebu’s Travel Leaders

For the first time ever, Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’s leading low-cost airline, gathered under one roof some of Cebu’s most prominent travel leaders. The intimate yet fun and truly memorable event, aptly called Travel Leaders’ Night, is a signature event which was done for the very first time in the country here in Cebu.

Check out some of the highlights of this fun gathering of Cebu’s top travel influencers.

First Gathering of Cebu Travel Leaders

The first ever Travel Leaders’ Night, which was hosted by Cebu Pacific, was held last November 13, 2018 at the lovely Balay sa Busay in the highland barangay of Busay. During the intimate event, the usually quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant was replaced with music, laughter, and playful banters from the participants.

Before the event officially started, the participants were able to mix and mingle and get to know one another.

Direct from Cebu

The event highlighted some of Cebu Pacific’s most popular domestic and international destinations. Narita, Singapore, Incheon, Macau, Hong Kong, Dumaguete, Siargao, Puerto Princesa, and Clark are just some of the many destinations that you can travel to directly from Cebu via Cebu Pacific’s extensive airline network.

Fun and Games

The gathering was made more memorable because of the games and activities that followed. Hosted by Y101 DJ Jiggy Jr., the event saw the participants divided into smaller groups and asked to take part in games, trivia quizzes, and more! In the end, the team #DumaGetHere, which was composed of travel bloggers Leylan and Xavier; beauty titlist Isabela; and fashion bloggers Mariana, Ching, and Ronah placed first. The group, which scored the most number of points from all the activities, had the chance to choose their preferred travel destination. They chose Narita, Japan. The group will be flying to Narita in the first quarter of 2019.

The rest of the teams were also made to choose from the remaining travel destinations. Everyone went home with a free round-trip (and possibly an all-expense paid trip) from Cebu Pacific!

The Juan Effect

During the event, the participants were also asked to take part in the #TheJuanEffect initiative and pledge to do one thing to become a responsible and better travel leader. If you, too, want to pledge to bring your own water bottle, throw your trash properly, or bring your own eco bag, be sure to visit the official campaign page today!

[…] My mom asked for a quick photo. I envy my mom because she doesn’t get sea sick or even sleepy during long trips. […]
