Philips Monitors and 20th Century Fox Hold Special Screening of Dark Phoenix in Cebu

Philips Monitors, the global leader in innovative displays, and 20th Century Fox, one of the world’s top film studios, joined forces to promote the release of X-Men: Dark Phoenix in the Philippines. X-Men: Dark Phoenix is one of this year’s most highly-anticipated films and is the latest addition to the highly successful X-Men franchise. To drum up promotions for the film’s Philippine run, the two giant brands held a special screening of the movie in various parts of the country.

Here in Cebu, the event was held at the Director’s Club of SM Seaside City Cebu last June 11, 2019. The event was attended by members of the local media as well as bloggers, vloggers, and social media influencers.

Before the screening started, a short program was held to let guests know more about Philips, 20th Century Fox, and their partnership. Philips Monitors Marketing Manager for the Philippines Jack Salamia also unveiled the showcased display units, the E9 curved monitor series. And later on, a 32” version of the unit was raffled off to those who attended.

Guests were also informed about an exciting ongoing promo which gives customers a chance to own limited edition X-Men: Dark Phoenix merchandise. To get special X-Men: Dark Phoenix premium items like jackets, backpacks, t-shirts, and figurines, one simply has to purchase selected Philips Monitors at participating stores.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix centers on Jean Grey and how she turned into the ever-powerful Dark Phoenix. Jean Grey is part of the X-Men and is considered one of the group’s most powerful mutants. The movie is headlined by Sophie Turner (Sansa from Game of Thrones) and features other notable names like James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, and Jessica Chastain.
