CANON Brings the EOS M10 Adventure to Cebu

Canon Philippines recently brought to Cebu two of the country’s biggest social media personalities for an afternoon of informative talks, surprises, and exciting news. The event, which was part of Canon’s thrust to further advance its leadership in Cebu, gathered members of the local blogging community as well as some of the city’s growing vlogging population.

EOS M10 Adventure

During the event, Canon also introduced the EOS M10 Adventure Challenge. In this challenge, participants simply have to snap a creative image featuring their ‘travel toy.’ The photo must fit the monthly theme which will be announced by Canon. The photo must then be uploaded on Facebook and Instagram with the hashtags #EOSM10adventure and #toytravel.

Each month, two lucky winners will win premium Pokemon items. One grand prize winner will bring home a brand new Canon EOS M10 plus a Pikachu shoulder plush!

Blog Talks with Jay and Raiza

Blogger Jay Ferrer, one half of the duo that runs Jay and Sab Around the World talked about Travel Photography Etiquette. Jay shared about the must-dos when taking photos on the road. He also talked about some of the many things that you must avoid when taking travel photographs especially when visiting religious spots abroad.

Fashion and beauty vlogger and Youtube personality Raiza Contawi, on the other hand, talked about the essentials of video blogging in Vlogging 101. During her talk, she discussed about the important tools, software, and skills needed to start a video blog and run a successful Youtube channel. Raiza is considered one of the fastest growing Youtube stars in the Philippines and is gaining a huge following fast.
