Earth Hour 2015 at Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan

Last March 28, 2015, Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan joined the rest of the world in celebrating Earth Hour 2015. Earth Hour is a worldwide grassroots movement which aims to unite people in helping save the planet by simply switching the power off for 60 minutes. This hour-long worldwide initiative begins at 8:30 pm and is often accompanied by programs and activities to help raise awareness about the impacts of energy use on our ever-changing planet. Crimson Resort and Spa joined this cause by switching off all unnecessary lights and gathering guests at the beach for a short program.

The buffet spread was transferred to the beach for the special occasion.

At exactly 8:30 pm, the lights were officially switched off by resort manager Sanjay Kristofer Quadros and his family.

This was followed by a fire and lights show.

Guests then lit over a dozen candles in front of the giant bonfire.
