5-Star Resort Dusit Thani Officially Opens in Mactan

Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort, Cebu’s newest 5-star resort, is now officially open. Present during the lavish and truly festive grand opening, which was held on December 5, 2019, were partners, members of the local press, special guests, hotel heads and executives. The historic event was lead by Dusit Thani General Manager Mr. David Baldwin, Lapu-Lapu Representative Paz Radaza, and DOT Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.

Staying true to the brand’s commitment to give nothing but excellent service to its guests and partners, Dusit Thani Mactan’s grand opening was nothing short of spectacular.

The event started with the cutting of the ribbon which symbolizes that the resort was now fully operational.

After all the guests were ushered into the hotel’s cavernous grand ballroom, they were then treated to a musical spectacle including a live performance by top lady violinist Melissa Cipres.

Guests enjoyed a truly wonderful gastronomic experience with the four-course meal that the whole culinary team prepared for everyone present during the event.

After the lovely dinner, guests paraded through the halls of the hotel and filled the sea decks outside to witness the much-awaited fireworks display.
