Merienda Makeover at the Casa Gorordo Museum

Last July 27, 2019, the Casa Gorordo Museum, one of Cebu’s most visited and most important heritage destinations in Cebu, held another edition of the CGMTalk. The CGMTalk is the museum’s special project which focuses on and seeks to promote the rich culture and traditions of the Cebuanos.

In this installment of the CGMTalk, the organizers chose a timely topic that is perfect for the Nutrition Month. They invited pastry Chef Dave Daryl Gelaga to give local merienda favorites a makeover and to talk about how these treats are created using traditional and time-tested methods. The result was a stunning spread of mouthwatering reimagined snacks that everyone truly loved.
