Cebu: People, Places, & Faces Art Exhibit Opens at Maayo Hotel

Maayo Hotel, the only 4-star wellness hotel in Mandaue City, has something wonderful in store for all Cebuano art enthusiasts. Beginning May 11, 2019, the hotel will be hosting a very special art exhibit. Aptly called Cebu: People, Places, & Faces, the exhibit will highlight different Cebuano elements and will feature works from 40 different Cebuano artists. In cooperation with Art Portal Cebu, the art show aims to showcase not only Cebuano art but also the unparalleled talent, skill, and workmanship of the Cebuano artist.

The Cebu: People, Places, & Faces art exhibit will run from May 11, 2019 to June 11, 2019. The exhibit hall is located on the 8th floor of the hotel (right on top of the hotel lobby.)

The ribbon-cutting event was attended by Mandaue City officials, Maayo Hotel personnel, as well as some of the biggest names in the local art scene.

The gigantic driftwood sculpture rising from the hotel lobby serves as a nice touch to the art exhibit on the 8th floor.
