The Oktoberfest month is finally over. Oh how time flies! Now, let us welcome with arms wide open the month of November! And as a TheCebuano tradition, at the close of each month, we shall revisit some of the many events that helped make the month truly one for the books. Here are some of the amazing things that made October awesome!

October 1 – JPark Island Resort Oktoberfest 1+1 BBQ Dinner Buffet

 

For all Saturdays of October, JPark Island Resort offered their Oktoberfest 1+1 BBQ Dinner Buffet. For only PhP1920 for two people, guests can enjoy the special BBQ buffet spread, live performances, and free-flowing wine and beer!

October 22 – Barlico Launch and Media Meet

Barlico Philippines met with members of the Cebu Bloggers Society for the special launching of BARLICO. Barlico, the leading barley and chicory-based coffee substitute in the Middle East and in Egypt has finally arrived in Cebu!

October 24 – ‘Magbuwag ta Kay’ Press Conference

The first big screen project of Rowell Ucat AKA Medyo Maldito called MAGBUWAY TA KAY will finally have its special screening/premiere night on November 30, 2017 at the Cinema 8 of SM City Cebu. Magbuwag Ta Kay, which also stars Akiko Solon and Snake Princess is produced by Heritage Films and will be distributed by VIVA Films.

October 28 – Caffe Hausbrandt (SM Seaside City Cebu) Launching

 

Caffe Hausbrandt, Italy’s first brewing company, has finally launched its newest branch in the Philippines. The new branch, which is located on the Upper Ground Level of the SeaView Wing of SM Seaside City Cebu, is manned by well-trained and experienced Hausbrandt ambassadors. The brand prides itself in offering ‘brew your own coffee’ options for its valued guests.
